A man came to collect my ten day-old, whiz-bang, high-tech, rinky-dink, brand new, multi-thousand pound wheelchair yesterday. Apparently it's broken. It may be a programming problem or it might be a stuck micro-switch. Either way I'm not sat in it now, which is a pity because I really like it. Hopefully it will be returned to me tomorrow in fully functioning order.
I'll let you know what happens.
That's the sucky thing about new electronics: If they are going to fail, it is usually in the first month or so.
ReplyDeleteFailing that, they wait until about two weeks after the warranty expires.
Not having your own wheelchair sucks. Hope it's resolved soon. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteQuick Sketch; Can see from Twitter you are not feeling too good.
ReplyDeleteWell, you have lost your place on the Mclaren F1 team, Kimi Raikkonen has been signed, so you will have to get fit for next years world championship. By then the technical development on your vehicle will have been stepped up a notch, and you should come out flying. Told them you have two K's in your name, but he has three so he got the job.
Also tonight some Turkish students have been playing copycat, throwing their shoe at an IMF man who was trying to explain to them that debt is great. I threw my shoe, and I still felt debt isn't all that good,so I keep them on my feet now. It's just not worth it.
