On the 21st March Polly, Sam and Matty ran the Sports Relief Mile along the Embankment in London. It was something of a last minute affair, Polly only having signed up a couple of days before hand, so she only committed to raising £50 for the charity. They all ran the mile with ease, circumnavigating Eddie Izzard (who was running yet another full marathon), and completing it in about 10 minutes. (Polly insists they could have run it faster but there were too many baby buggies in the way.)

Part of my job here is to write our staff magazine, which is called intouch.
I am a big fan of your blog (I don't get Twitter, I'm afraid. I'm a bit of a Luddite) and wondered whether you would like to write a short feature (400 words approx) in the first person about your recent experiences in our hospital - about you, your stay, your care, relationships with our doctors and nurses, the building, the food - everything that made an impression on you. It doesn't have to be a 'rose tinted specs' type feature - an honest opinion is fine. We always want to know how we can do things better.
